Waitara is where Super Nash Brothers began — the original shop, and still the benchmark. Every order is hand-breaded and cooked fresh when you order it: Nashville-style fried chicken tenders, sandos (our loaded chicken burgers), wings and snack packs, each in your choice of four heat levels — Southern (no heat), Nash (our Signature), Hot, or Reaper if you're brave enough to sign the waiver.
Our chicken is halal-sourced — supplied by Farmer Joe's, a halal-certified poultry supplier — so almost the entire regular menu works for halal diners; just skip the optional Peach Jam. That combination of proper Southern technique and halal-sourced chicken is hard to find anywhere on the Upper North Shore, let alone this close to Hornsby.
Finding us is easy: we're on Waitara Avenue beside the tennis courts and playground, a short walk from Waitara station and one stop from Hornsby.
